He obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree, BS in Finance with a minor in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland, a Masters of Business Administration Degree, MBA with a concentration in Computer Systems from Florida Atlantic University, and worked with IBM. He received the two highest levels of commercial real estate certifications; one as a Certified Commercial Investment Member, CCIM awarded by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute of the National Association of Realtors and the other the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, SIOR designation also from the National Association of Realtors, and is a State Certified General Contractor, GC.  In his free time, he enjoys boating throughout the Caribbean, saltwater fishing, snow skiing, scuba diving, tennis, classic muscle cars and yoga. Sam Idas, Director of Sales, has been with Heller USA, since 2000.
