- Speech & Communications Degree – Community College of Baltimore
- Personally built and developed two restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland, one bagel/bakery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. and the radio broadcast stations of KWSP FM in San Luis Obispo, California a start up in Palm Springs, California.
- Licensed in the state of Florida in 1980. In 2000, became a full time associate with Heller USA and is currently Director of Sales & Leasing also specializing in commercial and industrial real estate.
- In the year 2006, Mr. Idas completed over $20 M in transactions.. Those deals included the following: 10 year $7M dollar industrial lease; 2,160 sf office warehouse lease; 2 acre vacant land sale; multiple residential land redevelopment sales; new 8,000 SF office building sale, and a 10,000 square foot shopping center sale. Sam is prompt in returning phone calls gets deals done on time and correctly.
