Tom Heller founded Heller USA in 1984 and has been President and spearhead of the organization for over 33 years.
Tom Heller’s experience includes user and investor acquisitions & dispositions, and lessor & lessee negotiations. With this experience from both sides of the table, he is able to increase a property’s value through cost effective improvements and by employing solid management principles.

Tom is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and spent many summers working in the resort town of Ocean City, Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Science, College of Business, and Finance Degree from the University of Maryland in 1976 and moved to Florida. He received his Masters of Business degree with a concentration in Computer Systems from FAU in 1978. He worked with IBM while in graduate school and after graduation was offered one of only 16 available positions throughout the United States with NCR in their Major Financial Accounts Division in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. After five years he opened Heller USA, a commercial real estate firm.
Tom has many varied interests. He enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, saltwater fishing, tennis and basketball. Tom was the Commissioner for the Parkland Adult basketball league for 8 years.
Tom is also an avid boater, having owned and captained a sport fishing yacht throughout the Florida Keys, the near and Far Bahamas.
Tom enjoys the classic muscle cars of the 1960’s. You may see him driving his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS SS 350 convertible on one of our great Florida days.
In 1986, Tom ‘s wedding proposal to his wife MaryFrances made the newspaper front pages all over the country. He rode a white horse in a shinning suit of amour as he asked for her hand in marriage. Both Tom and his wife are members of NAMI. They have 2 children, Alexa, a NYC recording artist, dancer, actress, and Jordan who studies at FAU, plays guitar and is a competitive skim boarder.
